Marko Family, Evangel Christian Center Retreat, Long Island
Pastor Andrew Marko and his wife Destiny are continuing the family mission of making a difference in New York City. Their organization 9 Million Reasons runs the largest community food pantry in New York City and supplies dozens of pop-up pantries throughout the city. Every week they are handing out free groceries to 8,000 families from their home base in Long Island City, Queens. Though they serve their immediate neighborhood, they reach far into the most vulnerable parts of The Bronx, Queens, and Brooklyn.
“We chose Everything But The House because, every single person that we met seemed to
not only appreciate, but also love our vision of feeding New York City. Everyone was on
board with what we were doing, which made us feel like we were all a match made in heaven”
Explore the retreat featuring antiques, fine decor, outdoor furniture, sneakers and water toys. The Marko family will be utilizing proceeds from the sale to support 9 Million Reasons in the mission to help feed the underserved people of New York City.
